PK3: Where Every Day is a New Adventure
Comprehensive program for 3-year-olds who explore, develop skills, and grow in a bilingual environment full of love and discovery.
Your child is at the perfect age to discover the world
3 years old
Bilingual (Spanish-English)
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
At three years old, curiosity becomes the driving force of learning. At this key stage of development, children explore, ask questions, and construct meaning through every experience. In our PK3 program, we guide this natural interest through intentional learning experiences that support cognitive, language, and socio-emotional development, laying strong foundations for their academic journey.
Beyond preparing children for the next grade level, our approach honors childhood, allowing them to learn naturally while playing, exploring, and expressing themselves with joy.
All learning takes place in an authentic bilingual environment, where English and Spanish are seamlessly integrated through guided play, music, songs, and storytelling, fostering meaningful and natural language acquisition.
How Our 3-Year-Old Students Learn
Learning happens through play, exploration, and curiosity.
Integrated Early Stimulation
In PK3, we support each child’s cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development through guided play and intentional experiences, within a safe and nurturing environment that builds confidence and well-being.
Natural Bilingualism (Spanish–English)
English and Spanish are naturally integrated into the daily routine through songs, stories, and play, guided by native and bilingual teachers.
Children don’t study English — they live it.
A Caring and Safe Environment
Small groups, personalized attention, and a setting where every child feels safe, valued, and happy.
Developmental areas in PK3
This is what your child experiences on a typical day:
English: Phonics & Phonological Awareness
Through songs, stories, games, and playful activities, children begin to recognize sounds, rhythms, and patterns in English. They explore letters and sounds naturally, building early listening skills and confidence in the language in a joyful and meaningful way.
Spanish: Language & Expression
In Spanish, children develop language naturally through stories, conversations, play, and songs. They expand their vocabulary, learn to express ideas and emotions, and enjoy communicating in a warm and nurturing environment.

Frequently asked questions
What all PK3 parents ask
My child just turned 3. Is he/she ready for PK3?
If your child turned 3 before the start of the school year, they're at the perfect age. They don't need to be fully potty-trained; we work with you on that transition. What's important is that they're ready to socialize and explore.
Does my child need to know English before entering?
No English background is necessary. At this age, they absorb languages like sponges.
What if my child cries when I leave them?
It's completely normal (and heartbreaking, we know). We have a lot of experience helping children with separation. Usually, after you leave, they calm down within minutes and join the activities. We'll keep you informed throughout the day if you need it.
Do I need to enroll them in all the extracurriculars?
No. Extracurriculars are completely optional. Some parents choose one or two, others all of them, and others none. You know your child and your schedule—decide what works best.
What should I pack in the lunch box?
Healthy foods that are easy to eat and in small portions. Avoid things that are too sugary or that could be a choking hazard. We'll share a complete guide to healthy lunch boxes when you enroll.
Can we visit before committing?
Absolutely. If you're already in the area, we'd love to show you the facilities and let your children participate in a class. Just mention it in your inquiry.
What documents do I need to enroll my child?
The process is very simple. You'll need a copy of your child's passport and vaccination records. Don't worry if you don't have everything—we work with you to make enrollment as easy as possible.
How does extended care work? Do I have to commit for the whole year?
Extended care is super flexible—you pay by the hour as you use it (₡500/hour). You don't need to register in advance or commit to specific days. Some parents use it occasionally when they have meetings, others need it daily. You decide week to week or day to day. Just give us a little advance notice so we can make sure we have the right staff.
We begin the school year for 2026.
Let’s embark together on a path to a bright future
